Q: How long does the course last?
A: Both our Primary and Primary with SEN QTS courses last for one academic year.
Q: Am I eligible to apply?
A: Candidates must have secured or be in the process of securing (before course commencement)
- GCSE C or above in Maths, English and Science.
- A degree at class 2:2 or above in a National Curriculum subject or relevant applied discipline.
- 10 days experience in a mainstream or specialist school (depending on route chosen).
- Successful completion of Literacy and Maths Skills tests.

A: The School Direct programme is accredited by The University of Cumbria and is delivered in collaboration with ELIP Teaching School at Tor View School.
