General Primary 5-11 with QTS and SEND/Inclusion.

This route is particularly appropriate for trainees with an ambition to work in the special school sector with learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Students will be based within primary or secondary age phases (dependent on the cognitive ability of the pupil cohort). A contrasting placement in a mainstream primary school ensures that on gaining recommendation for QTS, students can opt to undertake their induction year as an NQT in either the mainstream primary or special school sector.

General Primary 5-11 with QTS

This route is appropriate for trainees with an ambition to work in a mainstream primary school. Students will undertake contrasting key stage placements and have the opportunity to conduct a small scale research project enhanced by an additional placement in another school. Students will be be able to further enhance their training with access to specialist courses led by experienced and qualified practitioners.
