East Lancashire Inclusion Partnership (ELIP) is a teaching school alliance made up of partners from across the Early Years, Specialist, Primary, Secondary and Further Education phases of education, led by Tor View Specialist Learning Community, a National Teaching School and National Support School.
ELIP is governed by a strategic board with representatives from each of our strategic partner schools. There are two operational groups whose role it is to implement the ‘Big 6’. All schools are welcome to join the operational groups:
School Improvement and Development Operational Group:
- Continuing Professional Development
- Research and Development
- Leadership and Succession Planning
- School to School Support
- Specialist Leaders in Education and Specialist Practitioners in Education
School Direct Operational Group
- Responsible for all aspects of Initial Teacher Education
We communicate funding opportunities funded by the Teaching School Council through the operational groups and welcome innovation and creative input from all partners.
Further information on each of our Strategic Partners partners can be found on their respective websites by following the links below. Our vision is clear, to improve outcomes for pupils by raising standards of teaching and learning through high-quality training and development of the next generation of teachers.
